About this studio
Studios 353 is a rehearsal and performance space rental business at 353 West 48th Street on the second floor, between 8th and 9th Avenues in Manhattan's Midtown Theater District. It is not a dance school: rather than teaching its own classes, it rents studios by the hour, day or week to singers, actors, musicians, dancers and companies for rehearsals, auditions, coaching, staging, classes, workshops, warm-ups, readings, recitals and performances. The rooms are Equity approved and include grand and upright pianos, and the facility is open seven days a week from 10am to 10pm. The same operators run an additional set of rooms as Studios 797.
