About this studio
Reverie Dance Academy (RDA) is located at 1157 N. Arlington Heights Road in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and offers an extensive dance curriculum for youth and pre-professional dancers. The academy teaches students from ages 3 through 18, describing its aim as nurturing beginning dancers while reintroducing experienced students to the art form. Class offerings include ballet, jazz, contemporary and lyrical, musical theatre jazz, hip hop, tap, and a dedicated jumps and turns class, plus a separate summer dance session. RDA is home to the Reverie Dance Company, a national award-winning competitive group that holds annual auditions each August. The academy also stages a Nutcracker production with its own audition process, and presents a Spring Showcase each year at the Lake Zurich Performing Arts Center. Registration for the autumn season opens in July, first to current students and then to the public.
