Pmt Dance Studio Inc.

PMT Dance Studio, also known as PMT House of Dance, was founded in 2001 and operates at 28 W 25th Street in Manhattan, describing itself as a fixture of the New York City dance scene. It runs daily drop-in classes for ages 12 and up in styles ranging from jazz and contemporary to Haitian, hip hop and breaking, alongside private lessons and studio rentals. Programs include summer intensives, a new Summer Theatre Series, beginner summer intensives, a Street and Club Styles Performance Lab and a Professional Training Program. Youth provision covers a summer dance camp, seasonal youth dance sessions, PMT Kids classes in ballet, jazz and hip hop, KIDHOP hip hop and street styles, and an advanced Junior Company program linked to the affiliated PMT Dance Company. Through a Pay It Forward program, drop-in class fees are donation optional, and the studio operates a work-study program and hosts performance events such as its Summer Dance Series and Summer Theatre Revue.
