About this studio
Passion Dance Center is a commercial dance and performing arts school at 3117 St. Roch Avenue in New Orleans, working to the motto 'Making your passion a profession' and aiming to teach dancers how to turn dance into a career. Its curriculum is set to company-dance standard: youth students aged 6-18 must take ballet, tap and jazz, with the wider youth program covering hip hop and contemporary as well, and students receive progress reports at the end of the winter and spring semesters. Tots classes for ages 3-5 combine ballet, tap, jazz and tumbling. An adult program teaches the same genres, taking both graduates of the youth track and later starters.
