ODC is a non-profit center for dance in San Francisco, with ODC Dance Commons at 351 Shotwell Street and ODC Theater at 3153 17th Street. ODC/Dance Company, founded in 1971 by artistic director Brenda Way, performs its repertory in two annual home seasons and on tour internationally. ODC School, with the Rhythm & Motion Dance Program, offers more than 150 classes a week, 365 days a year, for all ages and levels in styles including hip hop, contemporary, ballet, tap, Afro-Haitian, Pilates and bellydance, with separate youth and teen programs and summer classes. ODC Theater presents over 150 performances a year. ODC Health runs the Nancy Pelosi Healthy Dancers Program and classes for seniors, and an Arts Access program subsidises tickets and classes.
