About this studio
Miss Mickey's Dancers is a children's dance school in Lyons, Illinois specializing in the youngest dancers, with classes for ages 2 to 6. Its classes introduce the world of dance through creative movement, fundamental technique and the development of skills in ballet, tap and jazz, taught in what the studio describes as a safe and fun environment. The school is led by Mickey Sullivan, who began dancing at the age of two, trained at Charmette Dance Academy in St Louis, and has spent over 25 years teaching dance to children and adults. Alongside the school-year schedule the studio runs week-long summer dance camps ending with a themed performance, and hosts themed children's dance parties.
