About this studio
Maria's School of Dance has taught in Fowlerville, Michigan since 1995, growing from a single dance room to a 6,700 square foot facility at 105 E Grand River Avenue. It takes students from age three upwards and offers ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, modern, acro and dramatic arts, along with a specialized class for students with special needs and pre-ballet and pre-tap classes for the youngest dancers. Ballet training follows the Cecchetti method. Participation in the annual recital is optional but encouraged. The studio also hosts Dance Express, a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit competition dance troupe, and organizes studio travel and performance trips.
