About this studio
Mari Milnar Dance Academy is a children's dance school at 900 Terry Parkway, Suites 310 and 320 in Terrytown, Louisiana, in the Gretna area of greater New Orleans, working under the motto Friends, Family, Future. It runs a developmentally appropriate early childhood dance program and describes its aim as building confidence, teamwork and goal setting so that students grow into self-aware young people. Classes are offered in creative movement, preschool dance, ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary and musical theatre, grouped into age and level tracks named Creative Movement, Tiny Stars, Shining Stars, Show Stars and All Stars. The academy also fields competition teams for dancers who want to compete, and handles registration and accounts through an online parent portal, with in-person registration days held in July.
