Louisiana Dance Powerhouse (LADP) is a dance studio at 910 E. Main Street, Suite 27 in New Iberia, serving the Acadiana region. The school describes itself as devoted to the growth and development of its students through professional instruction, teaching quality dance technique within a progressive, well-rounded education. Instructors treat each student as an individual and work on developing natural talents and abilities in a friendly, positive atmosphere, with the stated aim of producing versatile dancers who also gain confidence, poise, discipline and sportsmanship. The studio positions itself as a place of empowerment and encourages families to join its studio family. Students perform in an annual revue; the studio's seventh annual revue was staged at the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival Building with tickets sold to the public.
