King, Angela School For Dancers

Angela Floyd Schools for Dance & Music has taught in Knoxville, Tennessee since 1997 and operates two studios, West at 10845 Kingston Pike in Farragut and North at 6732 Jubilee Center Way in Powell. Founded by Angela Floyd, a former principal dancer, University of Tennessee head majorette and choreographer whose work has appeared at Neyland Stadium and on NBC's Tonight Show, the school combines dance and music instruction under one roof. Dance classes run from preschool through adult in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary and acro, in both group and private formats, with a competitive track through the Angela Floyd Dance Company and a chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. A Preschool Performing Arts Program for ages 3 to 5 blends dance, music, art, drama, academics and French, and an adult performing arts program was added for ages 40 and up.
