Innovative Movement Dance Company (IMOVE) is a dance studio on Suppiger Lane in Highland, Illinois, now in its 14th season under owner and director Christy Fisher. Fisher writes that after years of dancing, teaching and choreographing she wants the studio to focus on learning and growth rather than the competitive atmosphere common in studios, letting each student decide what they want from dance and tailoring their training to their goals, time and budget; she welcomes any age and ability. Classes cover toddler and combination levels, technique and master classes in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, hip hop, pointe and leaps and turns, and acro, tumbling and pom. A competition program and dance camps are also offered.
