About this studio
Full Circle Souljahs is a Bronx-based street dance company and crew supported by Full Circle Productions Inc, a non-profit founded by Gabriel 'Kwikstep' Dionisio in 1992 and incorporated in 1996 with Ana 'Rokafella' Garcia and Violet Galagarza. It sets out to preserve and extend New York City hip hop dance culture on stage, in cyphas and in classrooms, training aspiring dancers with a focus on the cultural roots of the classic styles. Described as New York's only non-profit break dance theatre company, it has deliberately created space for women to train and perform breaking. Members range from teens to their early fifties, and it produces theatrical works, workshops and seasonal events.
