About this studio
DanceXpressions Performing Arts Center (DXPPAC) is a dance and vocal school in Locust Grove, Virginia, also drawing families from the Culpeper, Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg areas. It describes itself as a studio family rooted in kindness and faith, and runs several program levels so that both aspiring professional performers and hobby dancers can progress at an appropriate pace; the center is explicit that not every child wants to compete, while providing a competitive route for those who do. Teaching covers dance and singing, and prospective students are invited to a trial placement class before enrolling. Autumn registration opens on 1 August each year. The center also produces community musical theatre, sponsoring youth and teen productions such as Legally Blonde Jr.
