About this studio
Dance Station calls itself northern New Mexico's only full-service dance studio, operating from 947B W. Alameda in Santa Fe. It teaches social and competitive partner dance - ballroom, Latin, Argentine tango, swing and Lindy Hop, Country-Western and two-step, salsa and rueda, plus line dancing - through inexpensive drop-in group classes and private lessons, and students never need to bring a partner. The studio prepares couples for wedding first dances and other occasions such as anniversaries and quinceaneras, and offers a paid introductory lesson for newcomers. Its weekly calendar mixes beginner and intermediate classes taught by independent instructors with social dances, salsa socials, variety dance nights and live-music dance events.
