Dance Shoppe Inc

The Dance Shoppe is a dance studio on Airport Road in Waterford Township, Michigan, in Oakland County, which has been teaching for over 40 years under the motto 'Where Everyone's a Star'. It offers technical training and recreational programs for ages 3 and up, spanning a preschool program for budding ballerinas, a recreational program from first grade through high school, and performance and competitive dance teams known as The Dazzling Stars and The Classy Dancers. Styles taught include ballet, pointe, tap in classical, rhythm and Broadway forms, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop, acro and tumbling, and creative movement, with curriculums designed for students dancing for fun and exercise as well as those preparing for college dance auditions or performing arts careers. The studio holds an annual recital and runs summer camps and classes. Registration for the 2026-27 season includes in-person registration days and an open house, with classes beginning in mid-September 2026.
