About this studio

Bodiography, based at 5824 Forbes Ave in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill, is the non-profit arts organization founded and directed by Pittsburgh-native dancer and choreographer Maria Angelica Caruso. It combines a professional contemporary ballet company with conservatory-style training, fitness programming and dance movement therapy, working from the premise that dance is a universal language for every body. Alongside the main company it runs a Bodiography Student Company, a third company (BCB3) and a Charlotte-based branch, holding auditions for each.
