About this studio
Beauty for Ashes Contemporary School of Dance (BFACSD) is a non-profit dance school at 225 Chapel Street, Hampton, Virginia, with the tagline 'Bringing the True Spirit of Dance to Hampton Roads'. The school runs a ten-month syllabus from the start of the autumn semester through June. Its Children's Division introduces young dancers to dance in age-based groups, with Mommy and Me for ages 2-3, Creative Movement for 4-5, Pre-Ballet I and II for 6-8, Boy's Dance I and II for ages 4-9 and Rhythm and Roots hip hop for 4-9. Older students progress through the Youth Division, a Pre-Professional track, a College Bound Prep Program and the S.T.E.P.S. adult program, and may audition for the Beauty for Ashes Youth Dance Ensemble.
