About this studio
The School of Ballet Tucson is the official school of Ballet Tucson, Southern Arizona's only professional ballet company, based at 200 S. Tucson Blvd. Both are marking 40 years. The school's Young Children's Program covers ages 18 months to 5 with Dance With Me, a half-hour parent-and-child class for 18 months to 3 years, Creative Movement for 3-4 year olds and Pre-Ballet for 4-5 year olds. The Junior and Senior Program spans ages 6 to 19 across Levels 1 to 7, with recommended training rising from 2-3 classes a week to as many as 15, and pointe introduced at Level 4 via a Preparation for Pointe class.
