Arizona Dance Coalition Inc.

The Arizona Dance Coalition is a statewide non-profit 501(c)(3) membership organization founded in 2006, based in Phoenix with board representatives in Flagstaff, Mesa, Tempe, Prescott, Avondale and Tucson. Rather than operating as a teaching studio, it works to connect, inform and educate Arizona's dance communities and to promote dance to the general public. Its website carries a statewide calendar of member performances, master classes, festivals and auditions, a searchable directory of dance classes of all styles listed by region and town with links to the studios and instructors, a Photo of the Month gallery, dance resources and articles, and archives of its Arizona Dance e-Star publication. Membership is open to dancers, companies and schools, choreographers, educators, venues, arts administrators, photographers and physical therapists. The Coalition has sponsored guest master teachers, produced regional dance festivals, and supported performances for school children, and hopes to develop a scholarship program.
