KU Studios, home of Kids Unlimited, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) performing arts school in Tucson, Arizona founded by director Carol Sottosanti and part of the community since 1986, now marking 40 years. Alongside voice, acting, music lessons and musical theatre it runs a full dance program covering ballet and pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, contemporary, theatre jazz, pom line and hip hop, plus conditioning and dance technique classes. Ballet, jazz and tap are graded through levels A to E, from an introductory Level I to Levels IV and V for students pursuing technical and performing work. Classes are open to teens and adults as well as children, and there is a May recital. Kids Unlimited performing groups do substantial community service, including annual Salvation Army Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for the homeless and shows at nursing homes, and the school runs scholarship funds, summer camps, workshops and birthday parties.
