Murder and music take center stage as Allen Contemporary Theatre proudly presents Curtains, the hilarious musical comedy murder rmystery. The show runs from June 27 to July 13, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, Sundays at 3 PM, and special Thursday performances on July 3 and 10 at 8 PM.
Set in 1959 Boston, Curtains opens with the mysterious death of a talentless leading lady on opening night. Enter Lieutenant Frank Cioffi, a detective with a passion for musical theatre. As he investigates, the backstage drama becomes just as riveting as the onstage antics - and no one is above suspicion. With a memorable score, fast paced dialogue, and a blend of mystery and musical comedy, Curtains is a crowd-pleaser for both theatre lovers and amateur sleuths alike.
Directed by Laura Jennings, with musical direction by Jared Duncan and choreography by Becca Tischer, this production brings together a talented cast of local performers and an unforgettable score by the legendary team behind Chicago and Cabaret.
Tickets are $28 for adults and $23 for seniors and youth. Seating is limited and performances are expected to sell out.
