AMON! The Ultimate Texan makes its Dallas debut with three performances at Winspear Opera House's Hamon Hall on June 27–28, 2026. Written by Dave Lieber, directed by Connie Sanchez, and starring Kelvin Dilks, this one-man play brings to life Amon G. Carter Sr., the publisher, aviation champion, and media trailblazer who spent his life championing Fort Worth — sometimes at Dallas's expense. The production has been performed 74 times across a dozen cities, exploring the wit, stories, and personality of one of Texas' most colorful historical figures.
