A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare Everywhere

Shakespeare Everywhere presents A Midsummer Night's Dream, performed outdoors in the backyard of The Wild Detectives in Oak Cliff for two Monday nights only: August 10 and August 17 at 8pm.

Four young lovers flee into the woods, a company of amateur actors rehearses the worst play in Athens, and a band of mischief-making fairies turns the whole night upside down. It's Shakespeare's comedy the way it's meant to be played: loose, funny, and a few feet from the bar.

Shakespeare Everywhere has staged the Bard in bars, backyards, and found spaces across Dallas since 2019. Grab a seat, order a drink, and stay out of Puck's way. Runs about two hours. Tickets are $20.
