Photo Flash: First Look at MEN ON BOATS at Circle Theatre

Ten volunteers chart the course of the Colorado River in Jaclyn Backhaus' off-the-wall comedy, Men On Boats. With a one-armed captain and a loyal crew, follow the true(ish) story of the 1869 Grand Canyon expedition. This widely acclaimed and hysterical new play closes Circle's 37th season with a splash! Will they survive the wild rapids to change the course of history?

Circle's production is directed by Noah Putterman. The cast includes Jordan Desmarais as Seneca Howland/ The Bishop, Gazelle Garcia as Old Shady, Chris Herrero as Hawkins, Camille Monae* as John Wesley Powell, Dana Schultes* as Frank Goodman, Ellen Eberhardt as John Colton Sumner, Giovanna Grimaldo as O.G. Howland/ Tsauwiat, Rachel Macknight as Hall, Nicole Neely as Bradley, and Octavia Y. Thomas as William Dunn.

Men on Boats is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service Inc.

Circle Theatre's production team members include Megan Beddingfield* (Stage Manager/Prop Design), Katreeva Phillips* (Assistant Stage Manager), Clare Floyd DeVries (Set Design), John Leach (Lighting Design), David H.M. Lambert (Sound Design), Amy Poe (Costume Design), and Sarah Gay (Assistant Director).
