
Leonardo Suarez-Paz returns to the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts with his award-winning project, PIAZZOLLA100, named after his mentor, Astor Piazzolla. The program features music from the golden age to Piazzolla & Suarez-Paz performed by Nuevo Tango Ensemble, Grammy nominated and winning musicians and dancers. Journey through the history of tango, charting its golden age in the 1940s and 1950s to the present-day nuevo tango renaissance. The evening's performance will featuring the works of Carlos di Sarli, Aníbal Troilo, Horacio Salgán, Osvaldo Pugliese, Piazzolla and Suarez-Paz and dance performance by Leonardo & Olga Suarez-Paz and Nuevo Tango Ballet. Pre-concert dance class at 6:15 PM with Olga Suarez-Paz and members of Nuevo Tango Ballet, 7:00 Concert.
