RENT Stars Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp Return to The Ridgefield Playhouse
From their auspicious Broadway debut in Jonathan Larson's Tony Award winning musical RENT, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp have never lost their international fan base. Now in a brand new show the two Broadway giants along with a full band, coming together to celebrate music, stories and their friendship! The Ridgefield Playhouse and Ridgefield Magazine Broadway and Cabaret Series presents Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp on Sunday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m.
The evening will feature material from both of the artists solo shows: Anthony's concert features well known pop songs and original material: Cool songs with a hot band, plus fun stories. Adam's set offers original material as well as cool and hip arrangements of classic standards. Make it a great night out with dinner and a show, visit Bernard's (20 West Lane, Ridgefield) on the day of the show for a great Prix Fixe Menu when you present your tickets to this performance. Adam Pascal, recently starred on Broadway in Disaster. He also starred on Broadway in the Tony Award Winning Best Musical,MEMPHIS, followed by a stint as Billy Flynn in the Tony Winning Musical CHICAGO. Anthony Rapp has been acting and singing professionally since he was nine years old. With an extensive list of achievements, Rapp is best known for originating the role of Mark Cohen in Jonathan Larson's Tony Award-winning rock opera, Rent, for which he shared an OBIE Award with the rest of the cast. He reprised his role in Chris Columbus' film version opposite other members of the original cast.
