Cinzia Milani Presents Italian Classical Guitar at the MAC

Cinzia Milani, Italian guitarist, will grace the listening room at the MAC (Milford Arts Council) in downtown Milford, CT at 8pm on Saturday, April 13th. She will follow up with a master class on Sunday at 1pm. Brought to the community by the MAC's New England Guitar Society, Milani's program will include works by: Ablóniz, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Duarte, Fampas, Lagoya, Milani, Presti and more.

Milani began studying classical guitar at a very young age and after private studies, graduated from the Conservatorio 'A Boito' in Parma at the age of 18. When Cinzia Milani was only 5 years old she won the international competition of Milan. By the age of 14 Cinzia Milani had already won sixteen first prize in International and National Competitions.

The New England Guitar Society is a division of Milford Arts Council, established to create a nurturing environment for classical guitarists to meet, share ideas, perform, compose, teach and grow as musicians, with a goal is to increase public interest in classical guitar, and ultimately create future players and audiences.
