Edward Albee has, in THREE TALL WOMEN, created a masterwork which follows a feisty 92-year-old woman’s reflections on her family, now departed or estranged, and how it has shaped her life, a life filled with a mixture of shame, pleasure, regret, and satisfaction. The three women are 92, 52 and 26 years old. At one point they are three different women, but eventually they become the same women at three different stages of her long and turbulent life.
