Part-Time, Seasonal Production Staff DCINY - DCINY

Distinguished Concerts International, New York (DCINY) is a leading producer of dynamically charged full-scale choral masterworks, chamber music and instrumental performances. We are currently in search of highly self-motivated individuals to represent DCINY as part-time, seasonal paid production team members.Production Team members are responsible for representing DCINY with the utmost level of professionalism and are integral to the successful preparation and presentation of concerts in prestigious performance venues including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Responsibilities include: The physical set up and strike of rehearsals and non-union performance venues Transporting any necessary equipment to/from the appropriate venues Attending all scheduled rehearsals and/or performances Assisting with talent flow during concert residencies Offering hospitality to our clientele both in rehearsals and at the post-concert receptions Communicating accurate information from the Production Manager to the performers and artistsQualified candidates should possess the following: Highly self-motivated Ability to work well under pressure Passion about customer service and outstanding presentation Strong interpersonal communication Flexibility and eagerness to learn and accept direction. Resourceful problem-solving skills Ability to work with large groups effectivelyIdeal applicants have a background in events, music performance, theater, and/or stage managing. Instrumental background, reading music, and/or music librarian work is a plus. Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.Hired staff will be assigned to work concert residencies throughout the concert season.
