Windows at Arizona Theatre Company at the Temple of Music and Art

A new play written by Tawni O'Dell, directed by Tony Award nominee Mitchell Maxwell, featuring an all-star company including Bryan Batt, Peter Bradbury, Bob Cuccioli, Jeffrey Donovan, Priscilla Lopez, Alyssa Melani, Jesse Nager, Gayle Samuel, Cheryl Stern, Rachel York, and Rachel Zatcoff. The play explores fear, hilarity, anger, loss, and love unfolding behind curtains, blinds, broken glass, and bars, examining isolation, chance meetings between strangers, and basic human connection. O'Dell adapts the piece from her episodic podcast series Closing the Distance, recorded during the early days of the lockdown with actors including Jason Alexander, Tony Danza, William Hurt, Kathleen Turner, and Kelli O'Hara. The production plays two performances only, with the September 10 show followed by a Q&A and reception with the company.
