The Dramatic Improv Festival is a 4-day festival dedicated to grounded, dramatic, and vulnerable improvisation, hosted in Chicago by Theatre Momentum, the city's only theatre dedicated to dramatic improvisation. The festival features 28 performances, 20 workshops, and community events with performers and instructors from around the world. Performing groups include Theatre Momentum, Las Tinas, Avocabros, Edgar Allan Poeprov, Improvised Jane Austen, Columbus Unscripted, and many others. Workshop instructors include Michael Gellman, Asaf Ronen, Blake Wanger, Stephanie Kilper, and Roni Alperin, among others.
