A celebratory evening looking forward to Boykin’s third season, complete with previews of new works, light fare, and libations. Short Forms | An Evening of Dance in Its Most Intimate Forms Guests will enjoy a grazing table, wine generously donated by The Oakville Grill & Cellar, and an intimate lineup of live performances, including world premieres by Adam Barruch, Mark Caserta, and BDP Artistic Director Brian Josiah Martinez, as well as a look back at Season TWO favorite, While We Wait Here by Justin Rapaport. The evening will also feature a special interview with our featured Season THREE choreographer, Jessi Stegall (Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch”), offering insight into her creative process and what drives her to create, as well as what she plans on making in her upcoming commission with the full company in 2026. Expect good music, great vibes, and a raffle featuring exclusive prizes from Aesop and SKINMEDICA; Gyrotonic, Pilates, and Feldenkrais classes; original artwork by acclaimed NYC-based artist Baju Wijono, and so much more! Limited preferred seating is available—reserve early to guarantee your front row spot for this intimate evening of dance, community, and celebration! A night this special calls for a little sparkle! Cocktail attire is strongly encouraged—it’s the perfect chance to dress up, sip wine, and celebrate dance in good company. Please, no jeans or t-shirts.
Join Boykin Dance Project for an evening dedicated to dance in some of its smallest—and most meaningful—forms. Proceeds from the event will directly support Boykin’s third season and the development of our Strategic Access Initiative, a new effort to expand access to contemporary dance by providing high school students with cinema-quality performance footage and educational materials aligned with the National Core Arts Standards in Dance.
Each tickets include fare, libations, and performance. Raffle tickets will be sold seperately throughout the event, with a single ticket running $10 or three for $25.
