Jackie Taylor's The Other Cinderella is written and directed by Founder and CEO Jackie Taylor, with music by Jackie Taylor and Michael Ward. This African American retelling of the classic fairy tale features Cinderella from the projects, a Stepmamma who works at the post office, a Fairygodmama from Jamaica, and Brothers from the Hood keeping the kingdom alive. The production is filled with show-stopping songs, vibrant dancing, and unforgettable characters, and serves as the closing production of Black Ensemble Theater's 50th Anniversary Season.
