In the Continuum, written by Danai Gurira and Nikkole Salter, tells the parallel stories of two Black women — one in South Central Los Angeles and one in Zimbabwe — who discover they are pregnant and HIV positive over a kaleidoscopic weekend of life-changing revelations. The Pulitzer Prize-nominated play puts a human face on the devastating impact of AIDS in Africa and America through stories of parallel denials and self-discoveries. The production is directed by Tim Rhoze, with Tuesdai B. Perry and Jewell Redman playing the two women.
