I Killed Andy Breitbart at The Apollo Theater Studio

I Killed Andy Breitbart is a 75-minute solo show written and performed by Pam Dickler and directed by Drew Martin. The show tells the true story of how a Chicago theater producer became an unlikely target in the far right's effort to derail President Obama's reelection campaign, after Andrew Breitbart's final blog posting focused on Terrapin Theatre's 1998 production of The Love Song of Saul Alinsky. With wit and satire, the show explores how easily an ordinary person and a small Chicago theater can be swept into the whirlpool of political divisiveness, disinformation, and media amplification. The production is presented at the Apollo Theater Studio, 2550 N. Lincoln Ave., with performances on Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.
