HERE: for the holidays at The Newport Theater

A fitting show the night before the Midterm Elections— HERE: for the holidays on Monday, November 2 at 7:30PM at The Newport Theater; an innocently lascivious performance, intent on sharing the true meaning of the holiday season — gifts, traditions, copious food and drink, and, of course, judging people. In between positively polarizing numbers, you’ll ask yourself those fundamental questions of life, like, “When DO ‘the holidays’ begin?” … “Is Election Day a Holiday?”... “Why not?” … “Who’s in charge here?” and “Does Mariah even have a song about voting?”

HERE: for the holidays is co-created by Ellis Centric and Aunt Nance, and hosted by Aunt Nance with additional performances by Bazuka Jo, Diva La Vida, Goodie Sesso, Sassy Squire, Sugar Cane Jane, and Tila von Twirl.

Get a little naughty (or a lot!) — with a unique showcase of burlesque, acrobatics, clowning, drag and (optional) caroling. A show that skirts tradition and embraces trees, all while celebrating the magic of connection, expression, and darkness.
