Community Is at Theo Ubique

Community Is is a new event created and produced by Emily Marrazzo, giving local artists a chance to showcase new theater actively being created. The evening features vocal performances by Swan Song Ensemble covering classic songs and favorites from Little Shop of Horrors, followed by workshop performances of two new plays written by Emily Marrazzo. The plays, Starstruck Little Femme in Stem and The PreGame, feature Chicago-based actors including Grace Burmahl, Abby De Rosa, Bianca Bulgarelli, Catarina Thérèse, and Carolyn Waldee. The night includes interactive portions aimed at building community among audience members and artists.
