An original devised piece created by TimeLine Theatre's 2026 TimeLine South teen ensemble. The play explores how teens respond after a shooting at a school function leads to their schools becoming a surveillance state, with a new monitoring system called Caretaker infiltrating students' self-expression. Teens from different schools unite to fight the narrative that teens are violent and unruly, questioning whether building a safe space for community and care can be the answer. TimeLine South is a program providing teens on Chicago's south side a space for self-expression, creativity, and ensemble building.
