The 17th Annual Living Newspaper Festival runs August 20-24, 2026 at The Broadway Armory in Chicago. Inspired by the 1930s Living Newspapers of the Federal Theatre Project, the festival presents world premieres of short works drawn from recent news headlines. Performances are scheduled Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 3 p.m., and Monday at 7:30 p.m.
