Western Piedmont Symphony presents a lively evening of nostalgia with Foothills Pops: What’s Goin’ On – The Music of Disco and Motown, set for April 26 at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir, NC. Maestro Matthew Troy leads the ensemble alongside the Jeans ‘N Classics Band to perform iconic hits from the 1970s and beyond, including classics like “My Girl,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” and “Stayin’ Alive.” This celebration of disco and Motown promises to transport audiences back to an era of unforgettable melodies and dance-worthy rhythms.
