BKLYN is a high-voltage pop musical with a heart as big as the borough that inspired it. Beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, a troupe of street performers spins the tale of a young singer who travels from Paris to New York in search of the father she’s never known. But her arrival ignites an epic battle for stardom with the reigning diva of the scene, forcing her to confront the cost of ambition and the meaning of home. With a contemporary pop score that demands powerhouse vocals and delivers one anthem after another, BKLYN is part concert, part fable, and entirely thrilling. Blending the storytelling frame of Hadestown with the vocal fireworks of Dreamgirls, this electrifying musical pulses with raw energy, grit, and heart.
