Old and new theatre fans alike in Pennsylvania now have another reason to be excited, as The Book of Mormon will be having a production in Scranton, performing at Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Theatre At The Scranton Cultural Center on Saturday 20th December 2025. Experience unending laughter from watching the production of the same creators of South Park and the musical Avenue Q. The Book of Mormon is a musical comedy about the way religion is taught, specifically of the journey of Kevin Price and Arnold Cunningham, who through original techniques, pull out all stops to convert villagers of a local village in Uganda. This Tony Award-winning musical, that has gone on to have successful stagings in the U.S., London, and Australia, running for more than a decade to date, radically teaches us something new about religion, with comedy through classical theatre and showtunes.
