Old and new theatre fans alike in Pennsylvania now have another reason to be excited, as The Book of Mormon will be having a production in Scranton, performing at Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Theatre At The Scranton Cultural Center on Saturday 20th December 2025. The Book of Mormon is a musical comedy about the way religion is taught, specifically of the journey of Kevin Price and Arnold Cunningham, who through original techniques, pull out all stops to convert villagers of a local village in Uganda. This Tony Award-winning musical, that has gone on to have successful stagings in the U.S., London, and Australia, running for more than a decade to date, radically teaches us something new about religion, with comedy through classical theatre and showtunes.
