Choir Boy is a coming-of-age play that centers on a talented student at a prestigious all-boys prep school, as he navigates his identity as a young Black gay man. Set against the backdrop of the school’s choir, the story explores themes of self-acceptance, brotherhood, and the challenges of living authentically in the face of societal and familial expectations, and captures the struggles and triumphs of youth in search of their place in the world.
