The Laramie Project explores the aftermath of the murder of Matthew Shepard, a gay college student, in Laramie, Wyoming, in 1998. Created through interviews with local residents, the play presents a mosaic of perspectives, revealing the community’s struggles with issues of homophobia, hate, and acceptance, while highlighting the need for understanding and compassion in the face of prejudice and violence.
Tickets for this staged reading will be entirely pay-what-you-can!
