A tiny snail longs to see the world, so she hitches a lift on the tail of a humpback whale. But when the whale gets beached, how will the snail save him? The answer to that-along with a life lesson about friendship-will be colorfully and musically revealed through the storytelling magic, original music and physicality of the world-renowned, British children's theater company, Tall Stories. 'The Snail & The Whale' comes to the Ware Center of Millersville University on Sunday, Oct. 26, straight from its Broadway run for families with young children, as part of the Ware Center's Family Fun Fest series. The show will begin at 3 p.m.; the Ware Center lobby will open at 2 p.m. for kids to come early to participate in free, fun and creative show-themed activities and enjoy healthy snacks. The Ware Center is located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster.

Eppie Lederer, better known as advice columnist Ann Landers, answered countless letters from lovelorn teens, confused couples and a multitude of others in need of advice. But, many readers never knew that behind the advice columnist was a woman filled with class, charisma and a whole lotta chutzpah! The touring production of 'The Lady With All The Answers' is produced by the Nebraska Theatre Caravan, and will play at the Ware Center, located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 7:30 pm.
ForSight Vision Recognizes DreamWrights for Audio Described Shows

Bill Rinesmith, president of ForSight Vision, attended the September board meeting at DreamWrights Youth & Family Theatre to give thanks and recognition for the work DreamWrights does for visually impaired individuals over the past four years. Rinesmith presented an engraved plaque, also inscribed in braille that recognizes the efforts made toward accessibility.
