The Tony Award-winning Best Musical returns with an exciting new national tour, bringing the groundbreaking musical to audiences from coast to coast. Based on L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, it reimagines the classic story into an all-Black musical extravaganza with a score packed with soul, gospel, rock, and '70s funk. The production features direction by Schele Williams, choreography by JaQuel Knight, and additional material by Amber Ruffin. It tells the stirring tale of Dorothy's journey to find her place in a contemporary world.
