Theatre summer camp in Sandy Springs, GA
Orbit Day Camp is a performing arts day camp at Orbit Arts Academy in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The program mixes acting classes, improv games, mime, music, puppetry and arts and crafts with outdoor activities, giving younger campers a broad sampling of the academy's arts-centered offerings. It is one of several Orbit summer camps, which the academy says serve ages 6 to 18 and cover acting, singing, dance, mime, puppetry, stage combat and musical theatre. The wider summer lineup also includes two-week musical theatre production camps, a teen musical theatre intensive, a teen dance intensive and the Orbit Encore series.
Orpheum Theatre will present the 10th annual Mending Hearts Camp, a day camp designed for young individuals coping with the loss of one or both parents through engaging performing arts activities.
