Natalie Douglas brings her show Different Drum... The Songs of Linda Ronstadt to Birdland Jazz Club for one night, exploring both beloved hits and hidden gems from Linda Ronstadt's catalog. Douglas is joined by Music Director Billy Stritch along with Alec Berlin on guitar, Jakubu Grifin on drums, and Lavondo Thomas on bass. The performance spans classics like "Desperado," "Long, Long Time," and "Different Drum," as well as lesser-known treasures, sharing songs and stories that illuminate Ronstadt's enduring influence. A 14-time MAC Award winner, Douglas has produced more than 80 concerts at Birdland and has been praised for her "pure energy, playfulness and heart-on-sleeve emotion."
