The 10/23 night honored singer Bobby Short and featured an array of top NYC cabaret talent including established acts and some up and comers making their cabaret convention debut. So, she’s diving back into the New York cabaret scene with not to just one club, but two. On 11/11 she’ll appear at Don’t Tell Mama. The next day, on 11/12, she’ll be at Pangea. We spoke about the upcoming shows.

On 10/17 and 1, The Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn was taken over by Nightfall: Time Flies, a sprawling and immersive experience especially perfect for October. Death of Classical and Rooftop Films made great use of Green-Wood’s acreage. Performances, music, and multimedia pieces were scattered around the winding cemetery paths.
