The second night of the Cabaret Convention was a lovely evening, presented by the Mabel Mercer Foundation. The 10/23 night honored singer Bobby Short and featured an array of top NYC cabaret talent including established acts and some up and comers making their cabaret convention debut. On 10/17 and 1, The Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn was taken over by Nightfall: Time Flies, a sprawling and immersive experience especially perfect for October. Death of Classical and Rooftop Films made great use of Green-Wood’s acreage. Performances, music, and multimedia pieces were scattered around the winding cemetery paths.
