ASIAN DIVORCE By Ann Chun Premieres At Caveat NYC

The world premiere of comedian ANN CHUN's solo show, Asian Divorce, will open at CAVEAT NYC on JUNE 9, 2022.

Directed by Iliana Inocencio (she/her), Ann Chun (she/her)'s solo show follows an immigrant millennial with no filter, navigating her parents' complicated marriage in Thailand while learning what it means to be a fuccboi in America.

Right after getting dumped by a guy who just got back from a meditation retreat, Ann learns her parents are getting what she calls "Asian divorced" -- Her mom is moving out... to live next door to her dad. Disillusioned by her preconceived notions of love, Ann commits to becoming a fuccboi. This is her "Ho-rigin" story. A raw and emotional coming-of-age story that grapples with intergenerational trauma, toxic patterns trapped in 'tradition,' and what it means to rekindle a relationship with relationships.

Catch the first full showing of this show before it makes its international debut at Edinburgh Fringe this summer.

Doors 9:00 PM, show 9:30 PM.
Tickets $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
Caveat NYC, 21a Clinton Street
